The German Reading Room focuses on spreading information about the culture, history, politics, economy and law of Germany. Currently, there are about 7 thousand books and language games in the stock. The collection includes books on various subject areas: history, philosophy, politics, art, literature studies, linguistics, natural sciences and others. But mainly it consists of modern textbooks from Germany and fiction books. The main criterion for selecting materials is their relevance. The books are in open access. Everyone can work with them in the reading room; TSU staff members and students can borrow the books. The room is booked for classes and events related to the German language and German-speaking countries.
