«LALE». Turkish language & culture club

DescriptionTurkish is spoken in many places outside of Turkey itself. At the «Lâle» speaking club, we will talk about the Republic of Türkiye not only as a place for seaside holidays, but as a country with its own traditions and rich culture.  «Lâle» means «tulip». It is a symbol of Turkey that represents the history and geography of the Turkish language. But why the tulip? Join our club to find out.

Moderator: Mustafa Gül is a fourth-year student majoring in International Relations at the Faculty of History and Political Studies. He is a member of a university team engaged in the development of the youth policy in the Tomsk region. A native Turkish speaker, Mustafa Gül is also proficient in English and Russian. He is currently studying German and Spanish and helps others learn Turkish. Mustafa knows Russia well – he travelled over 10,000 km across our country by bike this summer.
