On May 30, the International Resource Center of the TSU Research Library invites everyone to the traditional Speak Dating marathon. It will start at 18:00 in Reading Room 3 and will feature11 languages: English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Indonesian, Urdu, Bengali, and Arabic.

“This time, the main theme of the marathon will be the traditions of different countries,” comments Elena Tsukanova, Head of the International Resource Center. “Over 10 rounds, the participants will discuss traditions, stereotypes, rules, national cuisine, clothing, and everyday life. We believe they will learn a lot about the unique traditions of the countries represented in Tomsk multicultural student community.”

Moderator: Sebastjan Jemec, a librarian at the International Resource Center and a postgraduate student at the Faculty of Historical and Political Sciences.

Note: to enter the library, you need a pass or a reader card that can be obtained at the Reader Registration Desk.
