Pakistan House
Time: Friday, 17:00 Place: English Reading Room Description: The Pakistani Culture and Urdu Language Club is for those who want to learn more about Pakistan, its history and the present, peoples and languages, diverse culture and everyday life, the biographies of famous people. The participants will have an opportunity to study the Urdu language on the basis of rich literature and poetry written in it. The club’s meetings will be held both in English and Urdu. Registration Moderator: Abdul Samad, a graduate of the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences & Technology (FUUAST, Karachi) with a degree in International relations, is currently enrolled at the TSU Faculty of Pre-University Training, afterwards he is going to pursue a master’s degree. He is fluent in English and Urdu, the official languages of Pakistan. He completed internships at the Institute of Policy Studies (Pakistan), at the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (Germany), and at the public diplomacy center Lincoln Corner (Pakistan American Culture Centre, Karachi). He is an academic collaborator and a member of advisory board of the 1st bilingual students' e-magazine named “Politico Vista”. Abdul has participated in several national and international conferences as an organizer, coordinator, presenter and volunteer. He is also the author of research articles.
